If you are travelling alone, you will quickly make friends with your classmates and during social events. We are sure that you want to make the most of your summer in Finland. We organize social activities during the summer of which you will receive more detailed information upon your arrival. Although the core of the Summer Term is its students and courses, also other aspects are also an important part of an exciting summer in Finland.
During your trip you will have an opportunity to explore Finland and cities in neighbouring countries, such as St. Petersburg in Russia, Tallinn in Estonia and Stockholm in Sweden.
The programme of the Summer Term consists of two and three week intensive modules primarily in the fields of business and engineering. In addition to these, we offer interdisciplinary modules. Lectures are delivered either in the mornings or in the afternoons. Furthermore students complete course work, group-based assignments, case studies and laboratory work. A good working knowledge of English is absolutely necessary for all participants. Some courses have prerequisites (for details, see the relevant course descriptions). The 50 courses on offer allow you to get ahead with credits in your own field or experiment something new.
Lecturers, coming to Summer Term from all over the world, are experts in their fields. We are delighted to be able to welcome them to Finland.
